A question:
The prices I see on the charts for gold and silver,
e.g. $443 and $7 respectively,
are they per ounce or per *troy* ounce?

 

Per Fine Troy Ounce, to be precise!

 

Do you mean 0.9999 pure?
And 1 troy oz = 1.097 oz or something?

Are you sure?

 

In Troy Ounces x Finesss (purity), therefore, what you pay for is Fine Troy Ounce.
