Please PM me if you are a serious user/developer of Lime and you are interested in sharing/learning from others who are in the same boat.

You are going to find it hard to create a group chat for this service. The vast majority of their clients are large high volume clients that have no problem coding to C++, Java or FIX.

  3. does light speed api provide real-time account positions? Lime’s api does not have this function that makes position tracking quite headache.

We offer Lightspeed Trader, Sterling Trader Pro, CBOE Silexx and Eze EMS Pro (Realtick). All offer an API, but only Realtick streams data through the API. Since the current position is really not "market data", I'm not sure if you can query that. I would have to ask. Which API would you like me to ask that question about?

  5. I do not need api to stream mkt data. I only use api to send orders and monitor account positions. Do you have platform that supports java api? Since your api is connected with desktop platform, I guess it should be able to provide real-time positions. Confirmation needed though.

All of these have a display with your positions and the ability to send manual orders too. Only Realtick supports JAVA. https://emsportal.ezesoft.com/API/xapi.aspx

    EZE EMS xAPI OVERVIEW

The new Eze EMS xAPI platform is powered by Google's high performance gRPC framework which allows engineers to quickly build efficient and connected systems. Clients can now seamlessly connect their proprietary applications, custom models and workflows, built in any gRPC supported language - C#/C++, Python, Java, Go, or Ruby, to name a few - with Eze EMS to leverage best-in-class global execution capabilities providing comprehensive trading, data, and risk solutions. Eze EMS xAPI is supported on both Windows and Linux.

Eze EMS xAPI is robust, easy-to-use and enables programmers and trading businesses to complete various trading workflows as well as access key information, including:
    • Automating order routing - to smart order routers, algorithms and other trading systems
    • Routing orders to multiple brokers, dark pools, ATS, and MTFs via the Eze EMS Global Routing Network - across asset classes
    • Staging or routing single name and pairs orders
    • Accessing balances, positions, executions and other order details
    • Accessing comprehensive list and basket capabilities

  7. Since you have multiple choices for platforms, which platform is most stable for api connections?

On the display, 100%. Through a query on the API, I have no idea and these are different developers and support teams. I would prefer not to ask all of them if you can point me toward your preferred solution. Lightspeed Trader is the least expensive but the API does not offer option trading. It is a C++ API. Sterling Trader Pro and CBOE Silexx are both C#.net. Silexx is a better solution for an option centric PMA. Realtick offers the JAVA you requested but is expensive at $450/Month plus Market Data.

None of my API users have reported any connection issues. They have all be around for a while.
