It's the shortest daylight of the year in the Northern Hemisphere. No matter what religion you adhere to. It's good time to consider that we are all on this planet together, under the same sun and subject to the same natural cycles. It's sort of a shame that by assigning this time to Jesus's birth the universality of this occasion has been co-opted for the use of just one religion. Mankind needs uniting. By considering that we all share this wonderful spinning spaceship through the recognition of this historically very important day we may at least in some small way recognize that we are all one. I'd like to wish you all the best for this next turn around the sun.
