How deposit OTC stock?

Discussion in 'Trading' started by lenka_trade, Oct 31, 2019.

  1. I live in Europe but I am a shareholder of US Company listed on OTC Pink Sheet. I have a paper certificate, but transfer agent can put it into book-entry format. Anyway no brokers want to transfer OTC stock into my brokerage account. Anybody knows what I should do? Help, please

Maybe a full service broker like Merrill Lynch can help.

How did you come about owning the shares? You will need an opinion letter from an attorney that tracks the origin. Not like before when you could issue shares and DWAC them into a third parties account. Usually a pump and dump promoter... lol. If those shares were issued fraudulently then the clearing firm or BD would be short once you sold and wired out the money leaving them holding their xxxx in their hand.

If the shares are not registered, filed with SEC you will probably need a legal opinion as mentioned above. Your best bet is glendalesecurities.com . Good luck.
