Watched it last night. Eerily similar to the Corona. In the movie, the epicenter of the pandemic is Hong Kong, which is like next door to Wuhan, and the contagion also originated from bats. Spooky! https://nypost.com/2020/03/21/how-t...fectly-predicted-the-2020-coronavirus-crisis/
Yeah I watched it yesterday too. Amazing the similarities. The world needs to stop bending over to China and do something about their “wet markets” and other breeding grounds for disease/virus. Its 2020, civilized people know not to eat a fucking bat, rat, etc.
They're compering this to corona. Damn In trailer they say - 1 billion in 3 months. Meanwhile Corona : December 2019 - China first case ~3 months later - ~300k infected. Journalists aren't that good with numbers.
Absolutely true Pakelo. But, that will happen in the future, while here, right now, (i just read the article), someone comperes this movie, with 3000 times faster spreading speed & 100 - 300 times higher death ratio (my age group has 0.2%) with current events. That's - beyond absurd. It's so far from the sane mind, that it's actually dangerous/harmful. What's next. Resident Evil. At least Milla is hot.
A pandemic is like a terrorist, it doesn't have to kill a lot to cause huge damage to society. Just look out the window, half of the world is in lock down.
The real fear should be that a terrorist group out there is sitting back taking notes and watching how this plays out...getting tips on what to do in the future. wrbtrader
Yes, that is true, but i don't see, how it is relevant to that movie, being compared with events in reality. Completely surreal thoughts below : One can bring, ideas like that, to the next level, e.g for few generations, in future, every new born, is being vaccinated or, in future, bio-engineering, some genes implanted, that would protect from a specific bio-weapon, like virus & then, in the times of war, you release it ; of-course, non enemy countries would suffer as well. But the whole population of the enemy & if not the whole world, would be wiped out, except for your own citizens. Could a single country sustain/maintain itself, since the world wouldn't be the same.
Watching a movie about, what a real pandemic would look like, while stuck in a media hyped bad flu unreal world LOL
