The talking heads always try to link the current headline news to the big market moves. The market advanced during WW1&2 and the Korean war - it was flat during the Vietnam war. What matters is not so much the news headlines - but how the market reacts.
I'd go 1 step further, going along with the stuff I have always been saying... it's not even how the market reacts, but how it PROACTS. the virus was the same on 1/24 and 1/27... and I have already posted about this, it's how them pro boys ignore the news to dump inventory, or use the news to press down and collect inventory.
that's what a master does... if you are really really good at something you can explain a very complex issue on a piece of napkin, that's true mastery.
