Did you finish the Brooks video course? Did it help your Trading alot? 59 hours of Content. Please be kind Folks. ET is Padu, Padu is ET.
no i am not that fast. the section on gaps and market cycle were really helpful to me. but it took some time to really understand what he was saying and i had to go back 2-3 times. i think going back really helps. also the module on outside bars and how to read and trade them was pure cash in bank. earlier i used to hesitate to enter on big fast moving spikes but after i went through the videos i got convinced that it here that the easier money was. i now stopped trading in those narrow ranges -Brooks says in the videos -that it is a no trade zone. my days of big losses were reduced almost to nil in the books he says everything is tradeable and should be traded. i also find the books easier to understand: but i think 90% of the books cab just be not put into practice and you will still make descent living. yesterday i started trading just after the news and in the next 3 and half hours made 1400 approx. so more than how to trade what patterns to trade it is WHEN TO TRADE
yes even though i know it, i do not like to do it, if the range is 1-1.5 pips tight. nowadays i do not have that strong urge to trade for sake of trading and i generally enter on market orders, although i like to scale in with limit orders
no still learning. withdrawing money from market is very difficult in day trading . i lived off my profits for 3 years trading local stock futures and delivery based position trading holding for 4 months at a time, during the 2003-2007 bull. but blew my account in 2007-08, not in the fall, but in the distribution phase before that. Did not have a clue about trading but just knew market bias was up but i should have got his video course a long time back. i have lost funding about more than 10 times. You really have to close to perfect in TST to keep funding account. I do not know how many do that successfully with their tight drawdowns targets
