Is anyone liking the market these recent days? I find the market easy for me these recent days. I love it.
The holiday season is officially over and traders are back on the job! What's especially nice with the new year is my average profit per trade is significantly higher and I haven't had to adjust my risk at all
Currency market is also great. Take the EUR/AUD for example. People were confused this morning, but it was clear to me that it was a short.
Yesterday afternoon and into today have been pretty damn good for my model. Tues and Wednesday were pretty slow for me (especially Wednesday, but not surprising though bc of FED). Monday was above average. Overall, when 2 of the 5 days are slow for me, then I can't say I really love this market but the last day and a half have certainly turned what was a very slow week into a pretty decent one. Hopefully this trend continues...
No. Check at 8:30. It went up after the news! It is non sense for it to go up. It went down after dumb money was cleaned. Fundamentally it should have go down, instead it went up. I am expecting other dumb money at around 1.52, who might buy it because books say "buy support".
It should've gone up on the news. Why? Because it did. The only "dumb money" is in the hands of the gamblers, which is most retail traders because they trade on news and fundamentals instead of price action. (I'm only referring to short term traders here, not long term investors.) What I see on that chart is that anyone who bought or sold the close of any of those little pre-news bars on a 5-min day trader's chart has enjoyed equal price excursions as of this point. Understanding of intraday price action concepts, not intelligence, creates profitable traders.
You've blown up no less than two journals here at ET alone. Both currency journals. Unfortunately for you peoples memories aren't as short as you seem to think.
I hope today was a good day for you. Today was another great day! This month has been great so far. Year to date, + 112%.
