I think I am done with SPY. QQQ

So in looking at my trade records it’s obvious that my day trades on individual stock options are much more profitable versus the two big indexes. I’m pretty sure this is because the daily range is so much lower on the indexes at approximately one percent. Compare that to some of the big name stocks Such as AMD, NVDA, TSLA and so forth that have ranges between three and 6% . Anyone else find this for their trading?

it just seems like the risk versus reward is just not worth it with SPY and also with QQQ.

Yeah grail is lost. I had a great run with SPYNQQQ but I think in general they’re just damn hard to trade.

You know if you’re gonna be one of those negative people, just keep it to yourself. This is supposed to be a community of traders helping each other

It’s not just yesterday. I download a 10 years of data and it basically is around .9% daily range a little bit less than one percent this is on SPY , QQQ it’s just slightly better

Yes, if you pay for 11IV but get 9.5RV then you lose.
Has nothing to do with SPY or QQQ or range.
It's what you pay for vs what you get.

Well all I gotta do is look at my trading records. It really doesn’t matter why but I do better on the individual stocks. So I’m just gonna run with that.

1% is good enough for day trading.
If it is < 0.75%, it will be difficult for day trading.

Yesterday Dax achieve fantastic performance of 1.3%,
and China A50 did very well at 2%.
