IBKR & Canadian exchange rate

So with these rates, would you bother to change CAD to US if trading US stocks? I would prefer just keep all my funds in CAD.

Yes on margin, but the stocks I'm trading don't have much of a margin allowance...pretty much all cash trades.

 

You will be paying interest if you don’t do the currency conversion.

 

So is it even worth doing the Norbit gambit with those exchange rates?
