Important Updates on America's Black Race

  1. When some of your dads were in school, they may have very well stood in front of doors, physically challenging some of the first Negroes who dared to enter into America's public schools. There may even be a few in here that remember those days, when much of the country thought blacks didn't deserve the "right" to share the same classrooms as whites.

If you would have asked your dads in those days, whether or not they thought a negro could become president of the United States, they would have likely laughed and said something like, "Hell no, no way, no how- give them all the freedom in the world, but they just aren't cut out to run this country."

Well, it's no new news that many of your dads have had to eat crow since then- pun intended. ;)

So what are some of the other important updates on the African/Americans that you perhaps haven't heard of?

Did you know Percy Lavon Julian was a black chemist who pioneered and lay the foundation for the drug industry's steroid production? Percy is responsible for the production of birth control pills as well.

In recent years, Queens County, New York, Blacks have had a higher median household income than the median income of all white Americans.

Also in Prince George's County, Maryland, where the majority of citizens are black, the median household income has been more than $60,000.

The achievements above are but to name just a few.

Feel free to share your own important updates to "America's Children"- the Caucasian engineered Afro-American.
