I just found these and they look like they could have some potential. The Summation Index can pick out some HUGE moves (altho sometimes it completely backfires). It is my understanding that the summation index is made from the McClellan Oscillator. Anyone use these in their trading/analysis?
I'm updating my charting program hold on for a bit. If anyone familiar with these wants to start in the meantime, go ahead.
cool, so how does it work? does it indicate overbought/oversold conditions? if so, are there absolute values like 30/70 on the RSI?
I know nothing about McClellan oscillators but in researching them I see they are derived from stock market advance-decline numbers. So why apply it to Yen? It makes no sense.
