Successful trader looking for somewhere to trade in NJ for the summer (June, July and August). Need very good high speed internet. Prefer office but room in residence would work as well, just somewhere I can put my 4 monitors and trade. I do start early though so I would need to be able to get in by 6 am (M-F). I will be staying in the Brick area and the internet available is not sufficient for my needs. If you have space let me know what your rent would be. Would also consider mentoring in exchange for space. Thanks
Where is your broker located and could a cloud computer located physically near the broker meet your needs?
I do not know. I primarily use a downloaded platform from my broker for trading, and I believe they are out of NJ. I do not think a cloud based platform will work given the functionality I need (many hotkeys). Anywhere with Verizon Fios 1gb minimum is all I need. Thank you for your input.
I trade mostly lower price NASDAQ stocks. Stocks only. Trading wise I am intraday only. Primarily short side, but have no problem being long. I am a former NASDAQ market maker (circa 1990's). So although my trading has evolved, I still have some of my old habits (both good and bad). I do not have metrics to share. I am not active in social media. I don't really care for it. I just was looking for a desk in NJ with high speed internet for 3 months. Thank you for your response.
Talking about Ross Cameron in another thread, he had a video of him in an RV trading. I assume if you park right out front of a Tower or Exchange you'd get good speed wouldn't you lol. And his trading style requires SPEED!!!
Trade options on that intraday movement for much larger gains. Just scalping trading stock is so minimal. Leverage and precision is the way to make money
Would you record a trading session for us to watch it? You don't really need to be in NJ to get that speed. There are VPS available that can do the job.
