"TLDR: Corporations kept negligently “exchanging” (rehypothecated loans) their risky assets for less and less risky to obtain higher quality assets for collateral. This created a big what-the-fuck chain of collateral assets. Now corporations are getting burned by beer flu and don’t want to be part of the chain. Big banks with deep pockets are fine and small business will likely get bailed out. But medium range corporation (>500 employees) without cash reserves are fucked."
