Does anyone run MT 4 or 5 on a Mac using Wine software? I had used Parallel in the past yet, was curious if anyone used Wine for MT. Curious if it worked well for you or had you had issues.
    Thank you for any response.

Why do you want mt4 when you can get apple silicon versions of investor rt, TradingView, motivewave, tc2000 etc?

I think many use Mt4 and 5 for the many automated expert advisor strategies.
Not sure if any of the expert advisors are compatible with other platforms.

Why do you want to use mt4

  5. MT is bugged and the vrokerages that use it are most questionable. Avoid it if possible.

As far as I know, MT4 on Mac using Wine (or Wine variants) is no longer supported in new Mac OS. I used to use it on old Mac OS and it's not recommended unless you use very simple charting. MT5 should be the same.

I doubt the latest Mac OS supports mt4 trading platform but it supports mt5. So, you can go for MT5.

Idk but brokers like Hotforex or Tickmill rolled out Metatrader Mac apps with Win simulator preinstalled. They are pretty stable, no need to install software that simulates windows

Thank you for providing me with your input. I was hesitant in using it. Appreciate your input more than you realize. Thanks again!
