Wallmart decided on Wed to match Amazon's prime sale with an online sale of it's own. I wish I pressed the print screen button during the time of my order so you could see the bug that occurred. I think this may now be fixed since I did a test order which I did not complete today and did not see the same screen. But what occurred was that both free pickup and free shipping were both set to green. I wanted my order shipped to me for free. I tried to call Wallmart before pressing the order button, but they said there was going to be a 20 min wait. So instead I thought I could just solve this problem with an e-mail. I have decided to show you my correspondence with Wallmart minus the actual ref and order numbers. "We deeply apologize for all the difficulties with the website, according to our records this order is not being shipped to your home, in fact it is already ready to be picked up at the Walmart store # {redacted}. If you don't want to pick it up form the store you can call them at {redacted} and ask them to remorse the order. You can also contact us back so we can submit the request in our end. If you have additional questions, please reply to this email and we'll be happy to assist. Sincerely, Heezeph L. Walmart.com Customer Care" "In response to my ref # {redacted} and order num {redacted} I am not going to call anyone nor do I wish to cancel this order. As noted please keep all contact with me through e-mail. Please note I don't know what the word "remorse " the order means in the context of your sentence. When I Google that word, I see the definition is "deep regret or guilt for a wrong committed". Maybe this wrong is the design of your website that does not allow one to select that they want the items shipped to them for free. Anyway, please respond to me one final time. Either say: 1) You must go pick up and pickup the order at our store in person. OR 2) We are able to ship the items to your house per your original request and here is the tracking number. Thanks,"
Guess I have to go pick the order up now. This was my final replay from the good folks at Walmart: "We understand that this has been a very frustrating experience and we truly apologize for the trouble this caused you. Unfortunately, we are not able to ship a Pick up Today item to your home. If reordering the item presents an inconvenience, the best solution is that you pick up the item at the store in person. However, if you need this item sent to your home, but calling the store is not an option, we can send a request to the store so they can refund this order and you can then place a new order so the item is sent to your home. Also, just to clarify this confusion. Remorse is a term used in these types of orders meaning to cancel/refund the order because you are no longer interested in the item(s). Again we apologize for the trouble this caused you. If you have additional questions, please reply to this email and we'll be happy to assist."
