I noticed a few VERY OLD threads here on the forum about some of netpicks trading systems (they've had quite a few over the years). Which brings the following question to mind: if their old systems were go great then how come they stopped selling them and invented new systems to take their place?

This thread really isn't about their trading systems or if they work or not. In my opinion, I doubt they really work but that's just an opinion. But I'm more interested in talking about this amazing company that has been around for decades selling their trading systems!

Coach Shane a legit trader in my opinion but he keeps his videos short and kind of generic but he pumps them out like no ones business:

You can't call yourself a trader and never have been on Netpicks emailing list. Mark Soberman must have a pretty hefty email client because when i was on their email list, he sent me alot of emails! Mark is one of the owners or founders of Netpicks for those of you that don't know. I'm not sure how active he is as a trader or ever was. I don't know what he does on a day to day basis. No idea! Not all of the Netpicks coaches do I really understand that well. I guess he's one of them. But he seems like a pretty smart guy. Business wise.

You can't call yourself a Trader unless you're following someone elses analysis and receiving a lot of emails? That's an interesting perspective. Your plug for Netpicks would sound more convincing if you stated you actually made money vs your inbox being filled up everyday. Those are LAZY traders, too damn lazy to do the actual work and learn how to trade!

Those that can call themselves a trader earn consistent profits on their own analysis, not a website pushing the same list of stocks to the gullible.

There are many traders who follow their own analysis and do quite well.

  5. I see Netpicks as just another one of the 2000 or so rooms that are all vendor and no trader. He sells a high velocity (high and velocity aren't defined or measured it must be seen as hyperbole) that makes you an invincible trader. Really? In viewing the video it is apparent that he does not actually trade but uses dots, arrows, lines and circles (same as Viper Trading) which are alerts and according to CFTC is not actual trading. He claims to make you a perfect trader. Perfect really?. To top it all off he has no track record. I find it incomprehensible to trade nothing, measure nothing and go on to claim anything. Like invincible, perfect, master, supreme. I see him as all vendor, no trader. And it's $10,279 for the package, that is on sale for 397 a month/ a trifling $4764 a year but wait there's more it's now on sale for 2497 forever ownership, what a sales room and with so many positive reviews from trustpilot are stapled to the website but they selectively left off these ones:

remember, this thread is not really about their trading systems. as i mentioned in the original posting, i don't think any of them works. but i am pretty fascinated by netpicks as a company how they've managed to survive so long. i think it must have something to do with how they present themself and come across as the good guys.

i'll have to take a look at their trustpilot reviews but i expect no one to be saying something like "i bought their system for $xxx and they didn't respond to my emails for help setting it up". the boys at netpicks seem to pride themself on excellent customer service. i think one of their employees is a lady too.

i always wondered too. how does netpicks pay its employees. say they have a good month and alot of people buy their trading system. does everyone get a bonus?

i guess someone could do worse than trading using a netpicks trading system since at least when you trade their little magic indicator system, they have all the structure in place like stop loss, entry, take profit so it does encourage people to do those things...

what do you think of brian short?

clearly their systems seem to be well thought out with strict rules and things. not alot of subjectivity. but like i said, i just don't think they work. but i could be wrong.

  9. I didn't see one live trade in all those videos, what i saw was lines dots arrows squares none of which are trading. I think Brian Short falls way short of being a true trader, just saying....

The dots and things tell you where to get in and where to get out.
Brian probably doesnt approve of THAT statement o_O But you are welcome to your opinion just keep in mind Netpicks (and Brian) have been around for a long long time!
