Hello folks, does anyone know of a firm willing to work with me in trading other people's money? I do not have a track record to show, some bits and pieces here and there but nothing consistent. I have spoken with Capital Trading Group and they said to develop one on my personal account and then get back to them in 6 months. In the conversation, the gentleman said that some firms are willing to try me without a track record. I am just looking for such a firm at this moment.

I am not interested in Family and Friends, and I do not have an LLC right now, thank you.

Serious question: Why on earth would anyone give you access to funding, a salary, etc. when you have no track record, and openly state that you are not consistently profitable?

Do you at least have Series 3? But it would be very hard to find anyone who will give you capital.

Consider finding a CTA shop and selling your soul as an Intern or an Entry level position. Learn while you earn parking and lunch money.

You just wrote to Capital Trading Group and they told to obtain a track record of 6 months and then contact again? What else did they say?

@tsfx I spoke with someone on the phone after exchange of emails and Nell Sloan referred the email to one of her associates in which we spoke on the phone. I asked what's the ball park for fees would be like. He said initially starts at 2k per month and goes up with more more investors added to your portfolio, they do help on getting you clients, but I did not go too much into it. He did asked of my experience which is since 2008/09 but does not matter without a track record. FYI, I first saw Nell Sloan on Chat for Traders about 6 years ago that's why I contacted them when I passed the Series 3.

Yes, many firms would help. It's called an internship. Unpaid, you do all the work, you get data. If anything works the firm gets it
