A study by University of Virginia Professor W. Bradford Wilcox and University of Utah Professor Nicholas H. Wolfinger suggests that Republicans have happier marriages than Democrats. Wolfinger and Bradford based their findings off of the General Social Survey, concluding Republicans are more likely to be married, have happier marriages, and are also less likely to be divorced than Democrats. The study found 67 percent of Republicans who are between the ages of 20 to 67 are “very happy” in their marriages—that’s compared to just 60 percent of Democrats and Independents who reported the same. According to the New York Times, the professors acknowledge the results could be influenced by individual’s attitudes toward life rather than just the happiness in marriages. “Perhaps Republicans are more optimistic, more charitable or more inclined to look at their marriages through rose-colored glasses,” Wolfinger and Bradford wrote. The Institute for Family Studies published the article. http://www.breitbart.com/big-govern...licans-have-happier-marriages-than-democrats/
Probably much higher than that; due to marriage, church, charity + common sense trends. And with dems trending toward socialism, scandels.......; exspect the trends to continue . Thanks for the news.
I think some of has to do with the hater mindset of many leftists. It would seem such a mind set would be toxic. Not all lefties have it, but plenty of them do. I would say the conservative mind set is more that we loved the country we grew up in and we really do not like seeing these lefties ruining it. We don't mind legal immigration but we think we have to set up the systems to accommodate it and afford it.
