Sad to see the Yankees lose that way...

  1. 3 miss-played balls in one inning? That's little league stuff.

How often does a Major League team give up 5 unearned runs in one inning??

Dopdgers were the betting favorite, so no surprise they won. But still....

They played poorly but they weren't going to beat the modern day Murderers' Row aka Ohtani, Freeman & Betts. Like the Yankees under Ruth & crew, this Dodgers team could be a dynasty. If they got some better starting pitching they could win 5-6 more World Series.

This series was a lot like the 1981 World Series. Even back then the Dodgers had better talent. Of course Craig Nettles' injury definitely hurt the Yanks back then. That was kind of the end the great Yankees stretch starting in the mid-1970s, however the National League was better in that era especially with the great & talented Big Red Machine. They beat both the Red Sox & The Yankees in that era.

The Yankees D and baserunning was gawd dung awful all season. If not I believe they likely would have come out on top.

Give LA credit they beat them with what they had, not what they wished they had.

If I had my say Boone and Cashman would be outta there.

But Hal is only interested in profits, not WS wins.
