I know the principal rules of epidemiology. The first thing you do is, you find the locus of the epidemic, and you stop it right there. So, you say, okay, don’t bring in any immigrants, no travelers from Honduras, they may be carrying the Zika virus. Did the CDC do that? Did the NIH do that? I don't know much about him. He does not seem to be on the radio in San Diego. but I did a google check and found an article saying he he did have doctorate in epidemiology. so I do not know.
