Sebelius: Couple of hundred website fixes required

Prodded to be more candid with Congress, Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius said Wednesday the administration's flawed health care website needed a couple of hundred fixes when it went online more than a month ago and conceded, "we're not there yet" in making all needed repairs.

At the same time, she turned aside any suggestion that the system be taken off line until it could be fixed fully. Doing so "wouldn't delay people's cancer or diabetes or Parkinson's" disease, she told the Senate Finance Committee.

Just when you think that statements in front of Congress could not get more stupid - we have hit a new low. What does delaying people's cancer or diabetes or Parkinson's have anything to do with the healthcare website being taken down to be fixed properly?

Moments ago, HHS Secretary Kathleen Sebelius made a stunning admission in her testimony before the Senate. When asked by Senator Cornyn if it is true that no background checks are required for Obamacare navigators who handle individuals’ private information, Sebelius admitted that it is true and it is possible for a convicted felon to become a navigator...

It just keeps getting better and better. Who exactly thought this was a good idea?

The fraud industry. Now who is closely aligned with the fraud industry --- oh, yeah - Democrats.

Sebelius asks for investigation of flawed website
    http://www.wral.com/sebelius-asks-for-investigation-of-flawed-website/13203613/

Recognizing that deeper problems may lurk behind the botched rollout of the health care website, President Barack Obama's top health official Wednesday called for an investigation into management and contracting decisions.

Is this a joke? She is responsible for the flawed website.

  5. the number I'm looking for is, "How many actual dollars have been collected in premiums from those that have signed up?"

as far as I know it is zero

and coverage is supposed to start Jan1

Most of the sign ups are from people who now are covered by Medicaid.

The insurance companies still don't know what the subsidy is going to be, so they don't know how to determine a premium.

Not to mention, that there is no mechanism on the website to pay. And if there was, I would be reluctant to type in my bank account or credit card number on a non secure website.

Maybe she hopes to blame Bush.

    it is bush's fault.
if bush did not screw up so bad and spend his ass off and give us medicare part d... our country might not have voted in this crew.

  8. Don't know if that's exactly it.

However, Bush WAS horseshit as a president... backlash against his presidency did help to usher in his even worse SUCKsessor.

    :(

  9. it's hard to get info from tv, because most talking heads have really creamy health care plans and don't understand what a premium is, a deductible is, or a co pay is.

the one that is getting on my nerves is, "If you are diagnosed with cancer, your insurance company could drop you."

  10. the thing is, I know how to make money and my greatest enemy is the government. But before I start bitching at the government I want to make sure everybody that is hungry has food (food stamps) and everybody that needs a doctor is treated (Medicaid.) Not sure why we had to go through this complicated ordeal. Just give everybody that is poor or has a pre existing condition Medicaid. I will pay for it, even if it means higher taxes. Just leave me the hell alone.
