I'm seeking mentorship across different forums and events. If anyone is or knows a mentor please reach out. I want to discuss what learning how to trade involves, what the process is like and expectations. Im extremely serious and willing to put the time and effort into learning the game. Also willing to compensate my mentor for their time in whatever way makes sense for the both of us. I appreciate everyone reading this post, any assistance in my search for a valid mentor is also appreciated. My ultimate goal is to build a track record and get employed by a fund or start my own flow. Thanks again any help you guys can give here would be cool too. I can be contacted here via pm. Maybe this thread can contain nudges in the right direction in more of a summarized fashion but the actual training would be more of a personal thing. Im a couple of years into studying so i know the basic terms, how brokers work, tradecosts, terminology and everything so im not totally new to it. Help me find my teacher guys. Im leaning into more of a trend following profile not so much mean reversion but im in the early stages of my career so it would be wise to keep an open mind. I promise not to waste your time or ever break your trust in me. Loyalty is really important to me, that would not be an issue in our relationship, I will not be going anywhere post training. I would technically owe my life to you given how valuable a working system and technique is to a trader's lifestyle. I want to be a trader, but im also into cars and guns so will likely be getting into the manufacturing game as well. Whatever my mentor says goes, willing to relocate and reprogram the way i think if its required to make this work.
In summary, you value being a trader, but you don’t value to do what it takes to become a trader. I’d go as far as saying that you don’t even know what it takes to become a trader. Your post screams a lack of commitment, which you try to cover up with an attempt to sell yourself.
