    1. the left has been pretending having a larger amydala is problem for conservatives... but its really just the opposite. And we just saw what happened to these lefty drones living in the lefty echo chamber.

Lefties worldview just snaped and they can't believe it. They don't know who to trust. Its like they were emotionally jacked up by the institutions they trusted.

Their smaller amygdalas did not allow them to realize they were being lied to. By their entire side. So now not only is Trump president but they have to realize their team lied to them and played them for fools.

It would be disconcerting to a smart person... but what about those with small amygdalas that really trusted the NYT or the Post of MSNBC or CNN or HuffPo and all the other lefties in hollywood telling them trump had no chance.

Massive worldview snap its not that Trump is the issue is that their is not one left to trust. That is why colleges had to bring in therapists. Smaller the amygdala the more truth is needed to mend the trust problem.
They need to be told they were pawns for the establishment.

-- Conservatives with larger amygdalas figured out the media lies years ago. We had the guts to call out the polls for bias.

Larger amygdalas allows us to distinguish friend or foe and who is lying to us.

The truth is the democrats play on their smaller amygdalas.

    2. also people with larger amygdalas have larger social networks...
so they are less like to suffer the delusions these lefties in the echo chambers have.

So what does the amygdala actually do? “[It’s] strongly connected with almost every other structure in brain. In the past, people assumed it was really important for fear. Then they discovered it was actually important for all emotions. And it’s also important for social interaction and face recognition,” Barrett says. “The amygdala’s job in general is to signal to the rest of brain when something that you’re faced with is uncertain. For example, if you don’t know who someone is, and you are trying to identify them, whether it is a friend or a foe, the amygdala is probably playing a role in helping you to perform all of those tasks.”

As I have blogged about before, the amygdala is a major player in our emotional reactions. Because of this, it makes sense that the amygdala would be at the center of a brain network important for socializing. This network helps us recognize whether somebody is a stranger or an acquaintance, a friend or a foe—all important factors in maintaining social relations.

To get at the relation between amygdala size and social networks, researchers began by measuring the size and complexity of about 60 adults’ social networks. In terms of size, the researchers were interested in the total number of people with whom a person was in regular contact. In terms of complexity, the researchers looked at the number of different groups these friends could be divided into (e.g., book club, childhood friends, running group, etc.). The size and complexity of each person’s social network was then compared to the size of their amygdala. Sure enough, the bigger the amygdala, the larger and more complex a person’s social network tended to be.

Importantly, amygdala volume was not linked to a person’s life satisfaction or the amount of social support they felt in general, suggesting that it’s not that the bigger the amygdala, the happier a person is. Rather, amygdala size was specifically related to the makeup of one’s social network.

Researchers have known for some time that non-human primates who live and operate in larger social groups tend to have greater amygdala volume relative to those primates that don’t, even after controlling for overall body and brain size. This new research shows that, even within the same species, the bigger the amygdala, the larger and more complex one’s social networks tend to be.

This finding is exciting because it opens a window into exploring how abnormalities in the amygdala may impair social functioning or contribute to certain psychiatric disorders. In short, it sets the stage to further our understanding of how particular brain networks guide our social interactions.

Of course, one big unanswered question centers around the direction of this amygdala-social network relation. Are some people born with a bigger amygdala that helps them to forge more complex social networks, or does amygdala size increase as we gain more friends? The jury is still out on this one, but given our knowledge of evolutionary influences on the brain and the ever increasing evidence that experience can change the brain—even later in life—it’s probably some of both.

Think how much worse things could be if Drumpf hadn't saved that Ford plant.

Democrats have Drumpf ears. Ha, ha, didn't know you were going to have to misspell for at least 4 years did you? Maybe 8. By that time it will be really old to you also Drumpfass.

Does Drumpf really need to wait until January to give California farmers the water he promised them? The sooner they get it the sooner the food supply expands, lowering prices. Drumpf's not inflationary, is he? That would be a misstep, Obama was excoriated for creating so much hidden inflation.

Say the words "President Donald Trump"... stop imitating a late night comedian.

Otherwise each of your posts becomes a joke.

The water is the important thing here, not Drumpf's name.

  7. You know what's funny? In Britain, a trump is a fart.

We should start calling him Donnie Fart. He's full of noxious hot gas, emits disgusting sounds and he stinks. It's so appropriate.

Oh, and BTW, I did not read the OP. lol jem is such a douche.

If it's so important why are you letting your childish vandalism destroy any conversation with others who it insults and who may gain from your understanding?

Lol, that's good. But let's not lose sight of what's important here. For the sake of the working man we've got to let Drumpf move forward on his discretionary, Keynesian economic plan to cut taxes, increase spending, run big deficits, grow the debt, and stimulate the economy!

Good thing about a fence, vs. a wall, is that a fence will allow surface water to pass through. Water those fields where the Mexicans, who will now not be deported, are ready to begin planting and harvesting!
