For a number of reasons I am becoming a bit concerned about the safety of banks and other financial institutions. What is the best way to store physical gold? A bank vault? A safe at home? Hidden some where in the house?
Ever heard of something called BITCOIN? Back in 2018 both gold and Bitcoin were the same price... Now Bitcoin is over 100k. How much is gold?

DBS Bank Branch Closure in 2004 In Hong Kong, DBS bank mistakenly sent 83 safety deposit boxes to a scrapyard, reportedly due to human error and inadequate procedures _____________________________ You can buy a safe. Definitely the thief will attempt to open it, or steal the heavy safe. Alternatively, hack the concrete wall or floor. Then Conceal the gold bars in it. If you are concern about the thief using metal detector, then make a very thick basement structure and bury the gold bar in it. But then you might forget about it during your lifetime due to dementia or whatever. Or after death, no one knows about the hidden gold. Alternatively, watch those movies about treasure hunting. Then you can hide your gold bar in don't-know-where with deadly traps here and there. Or you can simply donate your gold bars to the poor. It kills 2 birds with one stone; no worry for you, and the poor will be forever grateful to you.
