The beauty of CORRUPTION

Discussion in 'Politics' started by smallStops, Feb 21, 2015.

  1. We seldom realise how lucky we are to live in the West.

One of the reasons millions of third worlders risk everything to
reach our shores is to flee away from corruption.
So this thread will be dedicated to CORRUPTION.

  2. Experts say there is a direct correlation between a corrupt country and poverty of a country.
Here are the 10 most corrupt countries in the World: for the idiots in the West who are allowing corruption to fester, would you prefer to live in one of these countries?

  3. So , as some idiots in the west are ready to spread corruption, do you fancy
OUR countries to be turned into ( effects of corruption) :
    Somalia?
    North Korea?
    Sudan?
    Afghanistan?
    South Sudan?
    Iraq?
    Turkmensistan?
    Uzbekistan?
    Eritrea?
    Libya?
    Haiti?

Some people have no idea of the benefits of living in the West :
very low corruption. They do not realise what we have.

Thats actually something I can agree with, although we have lots of areas of blatant corruption, we probably make a better attempt than anyone in the world to prosecute people involved in it. Bottom line is so long as there is government there will always be some level of corruption, but we often take for granted how good our system is, just south of the border the government is operating hand in hand with murderous drug cartels, our grievances are minor compared to that.

When i was young and dumb and working at a prop firm i made a comment about how brutally corrupt we are to the chinese guy sitting beside me, and he just laughed and said i had no idea, the things we complain about seemed petty to him, his government is/was brazen in their shady dealings. If nothing else, atleast we dont let the crooks push it so far that you could honestly say they own the system, we are getting much worse in terms of corruption but we still arent all that bad yet.

Look what just happened in argentina where the prosecutor just so happens to take a permanent dirt nap, right when he was about to put the government on trial for shady dealings with Iran.

"Bottom line is so long as there is government there will always be some level of corruption,"

    Stupid statement.

  6. What for sure, we'd better remember how lucky we are that out corruption is not as bad as in some countries from which no millions of people are queuing to immigrate there.

Now, I am going over some recent cases of corruption.
For corruption to grow: it needs people willing to corrupt, people accepting corruption
and when things come to light : whitewash at all costs.

    Example of Whitewash:

Corruption promoters : here is what you might be helping without knowing
( corruptors never tell the whole truth).
Interestingly when corruption takes hold, nobody is safe anymore:
one UK Magistrate only child actually got used, abused and killed.
Ironically, the Magistrate was also part of the "gang", but scarred to
come out even when her only child was killed.

I'd probably change that to "so long as there is any organization, there is corruption."

Government just tends to breed more of it because of a lack of oversight/accountability.

  8. Thank you for getting the exact words

Government of one form or another tends to prevent corruption (not entirely, of course, since it is comprised of humans). If you disagree, consider those places in the world today without government.

Those places in the world today you claim are without government, do actually indeed have a body of individuals "governing" in some fashion. It's just not recognized, and in many cases acceptable.

But someone is in charge and making decisions, and corruption is all around.
