Coolest tropics since June, 2012 at -0.12 deg. C.

Note that La Nina cooling in the tropics has finally penetrated the troposphere, with a -0.12 deg. C departure from average. The last time the tropics were cooler than this was June, 2012 (-0.15 deg. C). Out of the 470 month satellite record, the 0.38 deg. C one-month drop in January tropical temperatures was tied for the 3rd largest, beaten only by October 1991 (0.51 deg. C drop) and August, 2014 (0.41 deg. C drop).

    This article has qualifiers everywhere.

    http://sciencenordic.com/greenland’s-recent-temperature-drop-does-not-disprove-global-warming

Using satellite data, a group of scientists has studied the development of temperature over the past 15 years in a large part of Greenland.

More precisely, they looked at surface temperatures (the temperature close to the Earth’s surface) in a part of the country that is not covered by ice—around one fifth of the surface area of Greenland.

Intuitively, you may think that temperature throughout all of Greenland has been increasing, but that is not the case. When you look at the yearly average, the ice-free parts of Greenland show a slight drop in temperature between 2001 and 2015.[bold mine] With swings in temperature from year to year.

However, these results should not be interpreted as “proof” that the Earth is not warming, say the scientists behind the research, which is published in the journal Scientific Reports.

  3. LOL. Roy the fossil fuel industry whore and creation science fool Spencer!!!!!

Just more proof that jerm is a liar and will go to ANY lengths to keep lying.

In TCS Daily, Spencer wrote, "Twenty years ago, as a PhD scientist, I intensely studied the evolution versus intelligent design controversy for about two years. And finally, despite my previous acceptance of evolutionary theory as 'fact,' I came to the realization that intelligent design, as a theory of origins, is no more religious, and no less scientific, than evolutionism.

    IOW Spencer is an idiot.

  4. He believes that most climate change is natural in origin, the result of long-term changes in the Earth's albedo and that anthropogenic greenhouse gas emissions have caused some warming.

From his website designed to attract donations from the Koch bros et al.

"Greenhouse components in the atmosphere (mostly water vapor, clouds, carbon dioxide, and methane) exert strong controls over how fast the Earth loses IR energy to outer space. Mankind’s burning of fossil fuels creates more atmospheric carbon dioxide. As we add more CO2, more infrared energy is trapped, strengthing the Earth’s greenhouse effect. This causes a warming tendency in the lower atmosphere and at the surface."

Like I said, no publishing climate scientist denies man made global warming. Not even this delusional fool.

Here is another chart which goes until the Dec 2017. with agw nutter accepted data.
    hadcrut 4 data.
the data can be downloaded by anyone so even agw nutters will have problems denying science. if an agw nutter does not like the graph they can do it themselves.

    here is the data...

Must not be a "published" Climate scientist. I must admit though it is refreshing to hear his views.

there are published ones on this list like humlum...from wikipedia...
Its funny how there are no peer reviewed papers showing man made co2 causes warming not based on failed models.

Scientists questioning the accuracy of IPCC climate projections
These scientists have said that it is not possible to project global climate accurately enough to justify the ranges projected for temperature and sea-level rise over the 21st century. They may not conclude specifically that the current IPCC projections are either too high or too low, but that the projections are likely to be inaccurate due to inadequacies of current global climate modeling.

Scientists arguing that global warming is primarily caused by natural processes

Graph showing the ability with which a global climate model is able to reconstruct the historical temperature record, and the degree to which those temperature changes can be decomposed into various forcing factors. It shows the effects of five forcing factors: greenhouse gases, man-made sulfate emissions, solar variability, ozone changes, and volcanic emissions.[71]
These scientists have said that the observed warming is more likely to be attributable to natural causes than to human activities. Their views on climate change are usually described in more detail in their biographical articles.

Scientists arguing that the cause of global warming is unknown
These scientists have said that no principal cause can be ascribed to the observed rising temperatures, whether man-made or natural.

Scientists arguing that global warming will have few negative consequences
These scientists have said that projected rising temperatures will be of little impact or a net positive for society or the environment.

    Deceased scientists
These scientists have published material indicating their opposition to the mainstream scientific assessment of global warming prior to their deaths.

Now that is one extensive list. I can now see now that Fruitcakes was just throwing out lie after lie. Yet, he/she would call YOU a liar.

  10. Like I said, no publishing climate scientist anywhere on the planet earth denies human caused global warming.

    The consensus is essentially 100%

So really, to deny it is pretty freakin stupid. Or it's just a lie.
