Yep. This system has been broke through both Dem and Rep Administrations. Its fucking ridiculous. People are buying their "groceries" at corner bodegas that sell shit food for rip-off prices. How friggin hard would it be to revamp this system to deliver basic foodstuffs to the door? Or at least have bi-weeekly local distributions. They could revamp the USPS and actually make it pay for itself in savings realized from reigning in this scam . Or use Amazon for god sake. Something.
