Thinkorswim now on schwab - can you trade after-hours 16:00 - 16:05 PM?

On Schwab you cannot trade after-hours from 16:00 PM - 16:05 PM.

Now that Thinkorswim is on Schwab, can you trade after-hours from 16:00 PM - 16:05 PM?

 

I heard a large block of retail customers were moved this weekend. I'd love to hear some feedback from those that liked TDA and now are at CS.

 

I use tos and I didn't notice any changes so far.

 

the transition is aweful, can't find or read hisotry and cost basis.

legacy td tos can't trade legacy cs account, at least for me. cs account is read only in tos.

 

I trade using StreetSmart Edge (SSE) on CS. Received a number of emails from TOS telling me CS will likely shut down StreetSmart Edge sometime in 2024 and switch everyone to TOS, offering me one on one coaching sessions.

I downloaded the TOS platform. Good thing I called CS before I tried it out. They warned me if I activated TOS, StreetSmart will be lost to me forever. So I only tried paper/Sim trading with it. There are pluses and minuses on the TOS platform. With the way I am using SSE, TOS is not good for me and I need to figure out how I can use TOS effectively before SSE is gone.

 

What is SSE?

Schwab reps said that? I was gonna look into SSE, but now I'm thinking well ... what's the point if they're just gonna discontinue it. Can anybody confirm?

On SSE, what are trading hours for equities? I think TDA starts at 7am et for most securities.
