    Hey guys,

Ive been trying a new strategy for the last 2-3 months, trading equities that have gaped and are correlated to a underlying futures contract.

Such as gold stocks that haven't gapped up at the open when gold has gapped up overnight , ex: il buy the stock that lags behind the price of gold at the open. Same for crude, silver, not so much for lumber

    Anyone tried anything similar?

I don't do that particular strategy but I remember a guy a few years ago on ET that was doing that with penny stocks on the Vancouver exchange, mostly gold mining stocks.

Are you doing low float penny stocks or known names like NEM, CDE, etc?

Low float pennys and small cap stocks on the same exchange lol. Do you remember who they were?
