Teen gets life for killing baby in stroller

The judge not only gave Elkins the maximum possible punishment for his murder conviction, but also sentenced him to 105 additional years in prison for other counts including aggravated assault and attempted armed robbery. That included 30 years for shooting and wounding a pastor outside his church 10 days before the killing.

A real winner - he should change his name to Trayvon.

Of course he had lots of family support

Elkins’ mother, Karimah Elkins, stood trial alongside him and was convicted of evidence tampering for helping dispose of the gun. Elkins’ sister and aunt have also been charged with trying to help him avoid prosecution.

A regular crime family full of geniuses.

  2. That's the welfare ghetto for you! Enjoy it while there is still money to pay for it.

You see, basically, welfare can never pay enough, if it does then everybody wants on it and the culture collapses. Since it doesn't pay enough everybody has to subsidize with crime. They can't subsidize with work because then, well, they wouldn't qualify for welfare. Welfare+Crime is the best option for having a life if you are already on welfare. (Work takes up all your time and doesn't pay much after taxes)

  3. That is why you are sick to think and compare the black boy that kill the baby is same to Trayvon. That black boy is monster with no heart, no feelings. Trayvon did not kill the baby. George kill Trayvon, then he lie all the time. What is wrong with you?

Keep in mind when this case first made the news... the media was regularly comparing it to the Trayvon Martin case.

Trayvon Martin was clearly headed down the path of drugs, guns, crime, and violent behavior. Had he survived longer and acquired a gun and full gang affliation it is likely that Trayvon would have harmed and killed others in a violent criminal career. It was highly likely that Trayvon's life would be ended by a bullet before age 21; it is just surprising that the bullet came from a neighborhood watch volunteer and not a gang member.

You think he deserve to die. That is what you think. You are to justify George Zimmerman big mistake to stalk that boy walking home. George judge that boy guilty with no facts , but for only his imagination combine with his anger and combine with his paranoia.
Tryavon smoke marijuana and he talk so macho on the internet with his friends. Stupid young boys talking all the time about to be strong and tough and have girls. You judge that boy Trayvon for being young. Trayvon is not showing he is monster murder babies or kill people. He show he is young and macho and not listen sometimes. But his family is no ghetto, no crime in his family, no drugs. They show love. You are wrong to judge that boy to be gangster. You are wrong.
My brother is young, very good musician too. He is talk macho sometime, he talk about girls sometime on the internet sometime. He smoke marijuana sometime. He look brown and some asshole stupid jerkoff paronoid person maybe afraid of him when he walk home because he is not black but white latino with brown skin.. What if they kill him and no jail for them? My brother is sweet, will never hurt people. He is young and sometime he is macho and too much with his talk. But he is not criminal.

I do not need to 'justify' George Zimmerman's behavior on the evening when Trayvon Martin assaulted him and Zimmerman shot Martin. The court has justified that George Zimmerman is not guilty of any criminal behavior.

My teenage son is not smoking dope, mixing up 'purple drank', attempting to purchase stolen guns, assaulting school bus drivers, burglarizing homes of jewelry, carrying slim-jims, or commiting criminal offences. Trayvon Martin is obviously guilty of all of this and heading down the wrong path to a violent criminal career as a gang member. His parents are directly responsible for Trayvon's problems due to their lack of proper parenting - this is not showing love, it is ignoring their parental responsibilities - which is really sad.

You bullshit. George Zimmerman behavior is bad. He is not young teenager make stupid mistakes when he assault police, assault girlfriend Veronica to have restrain order, assault girl in the bar and throw her to hurt her, harass his coworker to be fired from his job, harass the people in the community he live so they complain he too aggressive, assault his father in law with punch to the nose, break and destroy his wife ipod to destroy evidence...you choose to be blind.

Trayvon was a ghettomonster even though I don't think he really lived in a ghetto. I guess he picked up on the subculture through his school mates and Youtube, Facebook , Rap Music and all that... it's really sad about him getting blown away when he wasn't even a full fledged gang member yet, sort of like the Salmon that gets caught by a Grizzly Bear on his way up the river of life...

  9. Fat Jorge pretend to understand his culture, but he hire big fat black body guard to for protect him. Ghetto Jorge immitate ghetto USA. Then he cry poor Jorge and run to police. Go give Jorge the big fat scam your money if you are stupid.

I never made a case that George Zimmerman is an angel. Neither party in this case are model citizens.

The sad reality is that Trayvon Martin was heading down a criminal path that was likely to lead to his violent death or long-term incarceration before he reached the age of 21. This is a unfortunate reflection of gangster rap culture and an evident result of poor parenting.
