This guy claimed DACA was gone on day 1. It took 8 months to announce that he planned to end it 6 months from now. He is never doing it.

He is claiming Congress passes a law. Hey Trump and his pom pom boys. Congress has laws on the books concerning illegals. Why don't you enforce the laws Trump?

  2. Trump is surrounded by liberal democrats who try to shout down everything he promised to do. Of course, they are only there because he appointed them.

Ending DACA is somewhat complicated because the government promised these people they would be protected. Now suddenly the government says the opposite and BTW now we know where you live, etc. It is not a stretch to see that the same out of control judges who sabotaged his muslim ban would do the same thing here. So there is some justification for a gradual approach.

It is likely congress comes up with nothing. The republicans desperately want to get the amnesty train rolling, but talk radio, twitter and Tucker may make that impossible, not if they want to be reelected. I am somewhat annoyed at Trump's approach but let's see how it ends before we get too critical.

We all know if he runs for reelection with an amnesty, no wall and obamacare still in place, he is a dead duck. He has to know that as well.

Part of the point is it does not matter what Congress does. Nobody is obeying the laws as they are currently written so why would a new set of laws suddenly be followed?

  4. What America needs is politicians who will "do the right thing".. without consideration for reelection. (Yeah, when monkeys fly outta my butt!)

  6. This follows his model of promising something and then finding a way to blame someone else when he does nothing. GOP had reign over Washington for 2 years and all they passes was a tax bill. No border spending, no immigration reform, no new health care plan.

Best thing that happened to him was Dems winning the House because then he had something to point to and blame instead of himself. In fact the Dem victory was due to his failed promises and botched policies, red seats swung back to blue.

he has to be real careful this year because if the Dems get a smart campaign manager and simply point out every promise he failed to live up to and how they will step in and get it done...boom. (unlikely but still...)
