    How many day traders blew up since then ?
    Guess most day traders do not thrive on volatility.

    Nah, I've made more money swing trading this year than any other year combined. It's too easy to predict the outcome of his actions.

    For anyone to say they are profitable day trading right now is just silly. The markets are rising, even a monkey could be successful day trading.

  8. Price tend to overshoot undershoot levels when Volatility is too high. Sudden spike becomes even more unpredictable. and nowaday you get crazy slippage too even you are trading micro.

    SPY has returned 1.1% since January 1, 2025. ; May 01 2025.
    The QQQ (Invesco QQQ Trust) ETF has seen a return of roughly 0.69% year-to-date (YTD) as of the end of April 2025.
