Trump is WRONG (again), experts say

  1. "President Donald Trump's campaign of imposing tariffs on trading partners for a broad range of products is unlikely to bring back the kind of manufacturing jobs that were once the backbone of the blue-collar middle class, economists say.

As Trump enters the next phase of his administration's trade wars, experts are warning that his efforts to impose far-reaching import taxes are unlikely to achieve one of their stated goals: restoring manufacturing to a central role in the U.S. economy

What many oversee is China has become a major power with no debt, them buying as much Gold as possible and greatly increased military.

And USA is heavily in debt both government and citizens. The military had declined. We are no longer a strong country.. our people have next to nothing in savings.

Our economy has become much more service than manufacturing. When the goods stop coming from foreign countries, service is going to be layed off.

  3. AI is going to replace a significant number of people, jobs. Sure, maybe, manufacturing companies will come back to America, eventually, and then there'll be a Universal Basic Income.

Who really knows what future society direction will look like 5, 20, 50, 200 years from now. Change, revolution, evolution is inevitable

But He who has the Gold creates the rules. Same since the Ancient Egyptian times

I said it before a million times. Manufacturing jobs are NEVER coming back to the USA no matter how long they fight this tariff war.

Tariffs are only destroying world wide economies....

It doesn't matter whether he is right or wrong.

What matters most is he creates trading opportunities for the traders.

Anyway, China is a great manufacturer because of its productivity, automation, skilled work force, and low wages.
The US can try to compete by lowering their wages. And we know it wouldn't happen.

  8. WHy would all these companies bring manufacturing back to the U.S. to pay higher wages, increased transportation, higher material costs and lose money becuase U.S. consumers dont give a shit where it is made, as long as it is cheap. Even with tariffs it will cost so much more to go build a plant in the U.S. and move manufacturing to then compete directly with manufacturig that is still overseas.

when trump says something just do some research before you swallow..
