    LOL, this is comedy gold

Donald Trump wasted little time, Monday morning, responding to the 12 count indictment issued against his former campaign manager, Paul Manafort. On Tuesday, the President was back at it on Twitter — this time proclaiming that he’s innocent…because Paul Manafort’s lawyer says so.

In a pair of Tuesday morning dispatches, Trump weighed in on the Manafort indictment and offered his first public comment on George Papadopoulos — the campaign aide who pleaded guilty to lying to FBI agents.

" As Paul Manaforts lawyer said, there was "no collusion" and events mentioned took place long before he.......came to the campaign. Few people knew the young, low level volunteer named George, who has already proven to be a liar. Check the DEMS!"

No one in our campaign--including the campaign manager--had anything to do with our campaign.

How did a young, low level volunteer make it on your national security team?

Right, POTUS tweets about criminal activity in his own administration and that's redundant.

Why not start the 304021st thread on WHATABOUT HILLARY?

  9. Thanks. I've checked in from time to time and saw that you and a few others have been fighting the good fight with some excellent posting. But I didn't want to get drawn in because, as you guys have pointed out, the people with whom you are debating are only in it for the "points," facts be damned. The usually false, and at best wobbly, WHATABOUTISM makes these exchanges largely pointless. Like hitting your head against a wall, it feels best when you stop. And so, I did.

The only reason I wrote my previous post is because some people here who have finally given up on Trump are now pinning their hopes on Pence. And although Pence may not have done anything wrong, he now bears the Manafort smell. And so, I couldn't resist posting.

I'm off again. Be well and thanks for the fine reading.
