Trump's Response to Woman Asking About His 'Faith' Raises Questions
    By Thomas Kika On 7/22/23

Former President Donald Trump's response to a woman's question about his personal religious faith has raised eyebrows and questions for many observers.

Trump, who is currently running for the 2024 Republican presidential nomination in a bid to retake the White House, has frequently claimed during his political career that he practices some version of Christianity, though he has been criticized by some for only giving vague details about his personal faith. As recently as 2020, he claimed in a written statement to identify as a "non-denominational Christian." As a child, he was confirmed as a Presbyterian.

Religious conservatives have, by and large, embraced Trump, despite the frequent vagueness of his comments about his faith. Others have argued that his behavior over the years, including his numerous divorces and extramarital affairs, has made him a poor figurehead for religious individuals to rally behind. Outside of his base of supporters, an overall poll of Americans from the Pew Research Center found in 2020 that a majority doubted Trump's faith to one degree or another.

Similar questions were raised about Trump's faith on Tuesday, during a campaign town hall stop in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. During the appearance, a woman asked the former president how his faith has grown since leaving the White House and who has mentored him in that faith. In answering the woman, the former president appeared to dodge the actual question altogether.

"You know, I've seen so much heartache and turmoil," Trump said. "I was a developer and I did other things and, you know, I had a wonderful life before all this stuff. I didn't know what a grand jury was. I didn't know what a subpoena—what is a subpoena? I had a wonderful life."

He continued, shifting the topic to his decision to run for president: "I couldn't be more glad. I am so happy I did it because I've made America great, we can do it again. Right now, we are not a great country. We are not a great country. But I've gotten to know, because of this, evangelicals. I mean, I know so many people and they feel so good about themselves and their family and they base it on religion. I had never had that kind of an experience where I got to know so many. And Franklin Graham and Paula White."

A clip of Trump's answer began to circulate across social media on Friday night when it was shared by Acyn, a prolific Twitter user known for sharing an extensive number of news clips to the platform. Many reactions expressed confusion or mockery of Trump for his seeming failure to directly answer the question.

"Um... how was that an answer?" lawyer Bradley P. Moss tweeted.

"I wonder if this woman even noticed that he came nowhere close to even touching on what the question was about, let alone the fact that not a damn word of this made sense?" another user added.

"This is a pretty entertaining answer," reporter Helen Kennedy wrote. "She didn't look impressed."

"In other words, the answer is nobody and nothing, and he is so uncomfortable having to fake knowing anything about Christianity that he is going to just talk a little b******t until the next question," former federal prosecutor Ron Filipkowski tweeted.

Across the wave of responses, few to no reactions to the clip of Trump shared by Acyn appeared to be positive or defensive in nature. Nevertheless, reports indicate that the former president retains strong support from the religious right, especially Evangelical Christians, over 75 percent of whom voted for Trump in 2016 and 2020, Reuters reported. Opponents are now looking to chip away at that support heading into the first primary states of 2024 like Iowa and South Carolina.

Newsweek reached out to Trump's office via email for comment.

From the Twitter tweet, after Trumps nonsensical response, you hear the huge applause from the idiot sheep who lap up nonsense.
Such are misguided conformist yes people humans.
Like Trump once said, "....you can grab them by the pussy and they let you do it."
You (if you have power, wealth, importance) can screw over humans and they are happy.

Another example of more biblical nonsense...

    Romans 13
    1
Everyone must submit himself to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except that which God has established. The authorities that exist have been established by God.
    2
Consequently, he who rebels against the authority is rebelling against what God has instituted, and those who do so will bring judgment on themselves.
    3
For rulers hold no terror for those who do right, but for those who do wrong. Do you want to be free from fear of the one in authority? Then do what is right and he will commend you.
    4
For he is God's servant to do you good. But if you do wrong, be afraid, for he does not bear the sword for nothing. He is God's servant, an agent of wrath to bring punishment on the wrongdoer.
    5
Therefore, it is necessary to submit to the authorities, not only because of possible punishment but also because of conscience.

For much of the stupid public, it's easier to go into denial than confront or question power that got there via cheating and dishonesty.

The unfortunate thing is Trump has made a significant portion of the US populace think lying and cheating is a legit way to get ahead in life. Plus disrespecting woman, minorities, immigrants, and people with different sexual preferences. Ironically, some of the most successful young people now are well educated, female immigrants which really bugs the dumb ass types like "Fortune Teller" and "TreeFrogTrader". Of course, for the US to remain a financial super power, these trends are necessary, but I'm sure it's awfully confusing for them.

Trump caught my eye when he disrespected military veterans especially those that had medals for what they endured as a soldier for America.

Next, his disrespect of women including those in his own family...told me everything about his character as a human and that of his followers prior to him being disrespectful to everybody else. Yet, his refusal to denounce White Supremacy on national TV during a debate by telling them to "...stand by..."...set the stage (fire) for what would later occur on January 6th, 2021 all for his BIG LIE.

A BIG LIE that has resulted in people dying or being convicted because they believed it...later to be sent to prison.

In fact, I don't care who the other person is that will be running against Trump...that other person will have my vote to help ensure that Trump is no longer a threat to America when he's in the oval office.

Hopefully, he'll be at trial as the government tries to convict him instead of him trying to get elected back as President to increase his chance of staying out of prison when convicted because it's guaranteed he will try to Pardon himself...creating more chaos for the judicial system.

In my opinion, anyone who votes for Trump who is of sound mind has no self respect. Any doubts that he is an extreme sociopath have disappeared. Of course, here in Canada we knew this BEFORE he got elected ( when he had a 13% approval rating in Canada and was basically told he wasn't welcome after the Trump Tower con in Toronto ). His subsequent nonsensical trade wars directly led to supply chain issues and contributed to inflation; not the cult can connect those dots but the disrespect issues should be enough of a red flag.

Trump Rally Goers Declare Trump 'King,' Praise His 'Christian Values'
    By Andrew Stanton On 7/29/23
    https://www.newsweek.com/trump-rally-goers-declare-trump-king-praise-his-christian-values-1816191

Donald Trump's supporters attending his rally in Erie, Pennsylvania, praised the former president's Christian values and referred to him as king ahead of his campaign stop Saturday evening.

Trump is expected to deliver remarks at the Erie Insurance Arena at 6 p.m. ET in the western Pennsylvania city that helped propel him to the White House during his 2016 run, as he hopes to again secure the GOP presidential nomination next year. The rally is the latest campaign stop for the former president, who has held similar events across the country, that attract thousands of his supporters.

The Pennsylvania rally comes as Trump remains the frontrunner to win the 2024 GOP primary. He holds a comfortable lead over his rivals in essentially every poll as conservatives rally behind him. However, Trump will arrive to the rally after a difficult week in court. The Department of Justice (DOJ) revealed new charges against him on Thursday in the Mar-a-Lago classified documents case, and he may face new indictments as two separate investigations into the January 6, 2021, riot at the U.S. Capitol building conclude. The former president, meanwhile, has maintained his innocence in all cases.

Ahead of the rally, several attendees showed support for Trump in videos that have circulated across Twitter from interviews with the conservative news outlet Right Side Broadcasting Network (RSBN).

In one video, a rally goer, wearing a shirt that says "The Great MAGA King," praised the former president as a king.

"We've got to support the king," she said, adding that "King Trump" comes only after "King Jesus."

Meanwhile, another rally goer praised Trump's Christian values.

"He's for the American people, like he said. I think most importantly I like his lower taxes and his Christian values that he stands for, for the unborn and all that. He's just all around a better choice than anybody else that I've seen in history while I'm alive," he said.

Another attendee said she is proud to be a Trump supporter, even if people accuse his followers of being in a cult.

"I was just told yesterday that I was part of a cult, and I'm damn proud of it," she said. "He's part of us. He truly is. The things that the liberals are putting his family through is horrendous."

Another rally goer also backed Trump's unfounded claims of widespread voter fraud, alleging that he himself audited the 2020 election and found over a million duplicated ballots in New York, a safely Democratic state easily won by President Joe Biden. He offered no evidence to back up that claim, and Trump's election fraud claims have not been proven.

"I've seen a lot of things you're not supposed to see when you're auditing," he said, "We found over a million duplicated ballots. We have the proof. We found the double voting, we've seen the algorithms. It's facts."

In addition to various legal troubles, the rally also comes after Trump found himself at odds with city officials in Erie. Ahead of the rally earlier this week, Erie Mayor Joe Schember again asked for Trump to pay the city $35,129 for a 2018 rally, which drew thousands of supporters and required police to stay overtime to ensure the safety.

While Trump's campaign, which had more than $35 million on hand at the time, did not pay the city for the rally in 2018, it did pay $17,500 to the arena, the Erie Times-News reported based on Federal Election Commission (FEC) filings.

Meanwhile, Pennsylvania is expected to be a key battleground state in the 2024 election. Although Trump became the first Republican to win the state since the 1980s during the 2016 race, winning by less than 1 percentage point, Biden flipped the state back to Democrats in 2020, winning by 1.2 points.

The depth of stupidity is beyond comprehension.
One would naturally think that christians would be slightly more educated, that christians would be more level headed.
But against my better judgement, all I repeatedly see is dumbness.
