Heya Peeps, I'm looking at the downspike from Vasco data security (nasdaq:VDSI) following their earnings. They went from about $18 down to $14. See chart below. Why? The answer that I've arrived at is a combination of reduced revenue and lowered guidance: - non-GAAP earnings: $0.09, $0.06 better than analyst estimate of 0.03 - Q3 Revenue 2016: $43.6M, down 27% from $60.0M in Q3 2015 - Guidance: Reduced to $185-$195M, compared to $205-$215M at the start of the year. - Additionally, Operating Income guidance as a percentage of revenue: 7-9%, down from 10-12% communicated at start of year. Would you agree with this analysis? Did I miss anything important? Thx, Keith :^) Reference: http://ir.vasco.com/phoenix.zhtml?c=87566&p=irol-newsArticle&ID=2216822
