Fake news will never go away. But when news organizations peddle misleading narratives designed to discredit one side or the other, they do a disservice not only to their readers, but to themselves. How many CNN published reports had to be blatantly proven to be misrepresentations of the truth before the network as a whole lost it's credibility?

    They brought it on themselves.

The lines of what is true and what is fake is getting blurrier.
CNN hasn't helped the problem and Brietbart has made it much worse.

There is not only the issue of biased news reporting following the agenda of the network; there is also the issue that many of the "news stories" are paid-placement advertisements disguised as news.

What's actually funny is that BusinessInsider posted it. Years ago, that site almost tried to appear unbiased. Nowadays, I think they actually give staff members extra pay if they can come up with a catchy story title that somehow equates whatever the article is to "Trump is a dumbass and we present this story to prove it to you, stupid reader!"

    Red meat for leftys.

  6. What has Breitbart done that is so terrible? They link to articles and have commentary. Some would argue they are on the cutting edge of defending the First Amendment. The rabid opposition to them is clearly 100% political. The left has way too much at stake in controlling all means of communication to allow this upstart to set the tone.

Oddly enough, that's how it has always been in Russia.
