I'll trade you a nightmare of a Mercedes E550 for that scooter! And no shit. Was literally broke down beach side recently, and scooters went by for at least an hour til' roadside assistance showed up.
Hey man, you claimed you were going to dump that MB pile of junk... for a Subie Outback, 3.6R. Haven't yet? FWIW.... I've got a 2011 Outback, 3.6R.. has been excellent, trouble free.... leather interior, good stereo and A/C, heated seats... no complaints at all. OTOH... just put another set of run-flat tires on the BMW 535xi... for about $1,600. "Run Flats"... they wear poorly, ride stiff and are about $100/tire more than regular tires... what a POS concept, just to avoid carrying a spare.
98 Ranger 4X4 208,000 miles, wife has a 2004 Corolla 180,000 miles. Yet we are building a waterfront $800,000 house. Go figure...
Believe it or not, I've still got it. I'm actually thinking about keeping the darth vader looking, high maintenance mess, and parking it in the garage for weekends, or something. And YES, my next car will be a Subaru with the 3.6R. And after raising three males, the car WILL be the Limited model with leather. I don't have to have leather. It could be the old station wagon vinyl, lol. I just happen to have this recurring image of a new car, and sticky popsickles, ice cream, and whatever else they did back in the day. Last, I do like the 5 series BMW's. Twice the driver's experience vs Mercedes! If I had it to do over again, I would have bought one of the BMW 640I series: http://www.bing.com/images/search?q...4B8AC93872A3B73037C3DCE937436&selectedIndex=1
^^ THIS is the way to do it! And funny, I do laugh at what I used to do with financing cars, and having two outrageous monthly payments. I'd much rather put that $ in homes as well. Good stuff bro!
PT Cruiser GT... 230hp and front wheel drive don't work too well, torque steers all over the road in first gear... Next car might be a Subaru.
