  1. Which software supports scanning stocks based on both EOD data and intraday data using customer written scripts?

ORATS.com has a stock scanner that updates real-time and has fundamentals, IV and earnings information to filter.
The stock scanner is a private endpoint but we do deploy it sometimes to traders. What are you looking to query?

for what your doing ami broker is so fast - big learning curve as the developer is very argumentative and has his way of doing things or else. but now with chat gpt ai you can by pass their support and just ask ai for help.

did i mention the program is screaming fast. lol

forgot about tc2000 thats a really good one and user friendly

I would do TC2000 on a trial. You can pay just of the EOD if you choose after the trial. It is much cheaper.

The scripting is very simple and easy. I.e. the scripting matches the chart representation very well. You can get up and running in a day. The second thing is after you get a list, you often want to filter it further. Although one can do it with more scripts, it is often better to review them manually. It is better because you can refine your scripts after seeing the initial filter results. Think workflow.

Also a neat feature is once you have a list of, say 80 items, TC2000 has the space bar as the "advance to next on list" button. This makes the interface for manually review very efficient.
