I am currently on Streetsmart edge and really like it. I am not crazy about the TOS level 2 . It seems to be missing a lot of data.

I have heard of DAS and Sterling having good level 2.

We offer Lightspeed and Sterling. Both have a Level 2 display. Lightspeed offers a Level 1 Bundle which, in a level 2 window, shows all the exchanges and ECNs one time. We also offer Level 2 data. On Sterling, we have no bundle but you get a choice of some Level 1 and many Level 2 including Nasdaq Total view vs just Level 2. Total view shows all the market makers vs just 30 levels. All level 2 data is very expensive.

  4. Go Jigsaw if you can. They have a very sophisticated DOM with a lots of settings to choose from. But it lacks any programming language behind it.

NinjaTrader 8 has a very basic DOM, but there is 3rd party DOM called SuperDOM by https://tradingorderflow.com/ that at least looks dog's b...ks and apparently it had 10,000+ sales. Its cheaper then Jigsaw. Good thing about this combo is that you get C# programming language under the bonnet. Because, you know, one day you want to stop sitting in a front of screen whole day, and you want to start automating a bit.

This is our Level 2 display using the Level 1 Bundle. Below that is Level 2 with 5 levels of NASDAQ but 1 level of the others. I can't show the entire window.

I checked lightspeed. It is fine but I am looking for free trades or almost free trades.

So far besides the big one like Fidelity, TOS, I have found Tradezero. I think they are free if you have more than 250K

tradezero is a joke. $0 option comms but $0.59/contract “fees” are not comms? Yes, a few cents in regulatory and exchange is in the $0.59 rate. A scam.

There seems to be some coralation between not so good daytrading platforms and comision free brokers.

I think the level 2 data quality is at the same level in DAS, STERLING and LIGHTSPEED.

1.So, it is maybe more which platforms you can use, with comision free brokers.

Many people use DAS with Chales Swab. DAS get new upgrade 3-4 times a year. You can see on the DAS website, which thing that have been de-buged with each new upgrade
