    1. I am a Guru, therefore I am
    2. I would post my trading history but the satellite feed from my yacht here is so painfully slow and it could be intercepted plus I really need to get home as my Lamborghini is overdue a service.
    3. How dare you ask me about my percentage profitability even though it has absolutely nothing to do with my account size or bank balance.
    3. You need to have done 2 tours of Vietnam and spent 10,000 hours staring at the oscillations of a single candle before I will even considering parlez vousing with you.
    4. I paid a team of ace coders in some far off country a 6 figure sum to come up with a system Jim Simons would've bought from me.
    5. I CAN'T show any LIVE trades or PAST trades as posting that info on a public forum would cause the end of the markets as we know them if somebody was able to reverse engineer my system.

Since most members are not looking to sell a service, there is no reason why anyone needs to post live data on a public forum to prove to you they can make money. They have no fiduciary duty to other members. I was an Option MM from 1985 until 2010. I think I had 2 down months. I'm not going to post my yearly P/L and no one else needs to. I'll add that even a mentoring/teaching coach/trader should also not be required to. The best coaches in sports are not top players. The same for traders. A Trader can teach a plan and market structure with discipline and still provide guidance while not trading at all.

Is there any other free forum with proven profitable traders?

Do they share their audited tax declaration?

  4. You can tell who is doing alright by looking at the way they reply. That is, if you know what the right answer would be, of course.

You don't have to ask for any proof.

It's the other way around; if you see someone cocky enough to claim they're making it, people will jump hard on it and ask for details, to spot the scam.

Ahh, ok Robert. No probs. Would you say that selling stuff is a lot easier than trading on ET then?

I don't know to be honest...I was only basing it on my experience here in ET.
Not sure I was looking for something as in depth as an audited tax declaration mind u.

Now that is an interesting reply. I obviously need to pay more attention to some particular posters then. Thanks for the heads up.

I would say the doing something well, anything, is a different skill than teaching. The Best most profitable traders might have no clue or patience to teach.

There are profitable traders on ET.
Proven or not, they won't change your life.
I think it's useless to prove you're a profitable trader.

They won't improve the long term growth of your bankroll.

Another interesting reply Sekiyo my friend. Hmmm..in what respect do you think it is useless to prove you are profitable? Because of the unwanted attention you then bring upon yourself? I can see that but at the end of the day we can always escape into the internet ether is it becomes too much can we not? And maybe that is exactly what the vast majority of formerly profitable ET traders have done, no?
ps..I see you have moved onto instruments and theories beyond my comprehension. Hope it's working well.
