    After a quick look:

"Also the Crypto Punk NFT phenomenon challenges Taleb’s claim that BTC lacks utility,"

Wow, in 2024 someone is bringing up NFTs as utility.. I guess for scamming purposes it is fine. :) The best utility for cryptos is still blackmailing.

I'm sure most of us have learned not to rely on other peoples opinions on crypto

  5. Funny thing about Taleb. I'm reading through his 'Skin in the Game' book now.

Another funny thing, I'm also half-way through the Bitcoin Standard, which also had his works in it, and he even did the foreword too in the earlier editions. However, his foreword was dropped after he turned bearish on Bitcoin.

I think by now he may be changing back to bullish again?

  6. Now suppose there is utility in bitcoin. What's the connection between utility and price of bitcoin? I still think there is zero to none. Bitcoin can have utility but be worth almost nothing or a million. It doesn't matter. What matters is that in the long run the only value it has is what a fool is willing to pay you for it.
