why there is such a difference between yahoo data and future price of the NASDAQ?

    Hi everyone.I usually analyze the nasdaq index with yahoo data .Recently I found a problem ,the Nasdaq index provided by yahoo is about 5900 ,and the dec 17 future price of the mini nasdaq is about 5400. why there is the difference ?

    Futures are on the nasdaq 100 (^ndx), the 5900 is the composite, the wider nasdaq market, which doesnt have its own future.

    I found the yahoo also provides the data of Nasdaq 100,but I am not sure the accuracy ?
    which data feed would be better?
