Now I see why sometimes I see 2 posts that are exactly or close to the same. ET sometimes has a glitch problem. Or something... Moderator: Remove that bus! I mean the last post of mine before this one... Heck, remove this post also! Pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeze...
It wasn't really about the trial per se V77. In my book of thought if you have a serious illness you do "whatever it takes", meaning getting your hands on the vaccine, now or when it is approved or whatever else. If you sit there and wait or expect to be lucky enough to have a competent doctor figure out saving your life as he/she might be doing for another 1-3 hundred people at the same time....hey....good luck....
Don't twist my words. This is what i said: If i ask my bank a loan to buy the ticket for 400 k, the 30k income per year will not be enough to payback my loan. I think that says enough about the proposition. I don't want to offend anyone, but i'm very sceptical about the story. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I never called you a liar or fraud. I said the proposition was poor for the buyer, and i was sceptical. If i win the lottery i will get every day people with the same kind of sad story at my door. And apparently the scenario you described seems to be the number 1 fraud at this moment. You cannot blame people for being sceptical.
I know that optionpro007. I was just thinking it's too bad they can't give all the people the vaccine to see if it helps instead of doing the lab rat experiment where only 1/2 get the vaccine.
I would like to clear up a misunderstanding if I may..the number 1 fraud being lottery scams on that list has nothing to do with what the original poster of this thread is talking about regarding his friends ticket.. The 1 scam in lottery is usually out of Canada some crooks con men calling elderly people in U.S.A and telling them they won millions in Canada lottery but in order to get it they will have to send in a $5 thousand fee first..( or something like that) The other most common scam that makes Lottery scams #1 is usually 3 people will buy a Lottery ticket with the PREVIOUS drawings winning numbers on it for the next drawing..they then approach some sucker on the street and take them aside and tell them that they won last weeks lotto jackpot for Millions..they they show the mark the ticket with the winning numbers along with the results from the newspaper showing that those numbers indeed are the winning ones...the mark never thinks to look at the date of the lottery ticket in their hand...they go on to tell the mark that they are in the country illegally and can't cash the ticket so if the mark would cash it for them, they will split the millions 50-50....so of course the greedy and gullible fool mark thinks it is easy money so he says "sure"...but then they tell him he needs to put up $5 thousand for good faith and they will then give him the ticket to go cash....so the fool goes to his bank and gets $5k, meets them and gives them the money and they give him the ticket and tell him to go validate it and meet them back at the parking lot... so of course the guy goes to a lottery retailer to validate the jackpot lotto ticket only to be told it is for the drawing coming up and not from last weeks drawing.. DUH.. And yes, when he races back to the parking lot, the con men are long gone.. So that is why lottery scams are Number 1 on the scam list...This has NOTHING to do with what the original poster posted about in trying to help his sick friend out. I hope I cleared this up some.
You are welcome. I just tried to clear things up as like I said I know about stuff like this. And like your friend, I also am very ill and have been for awhile. Actually I haven't posted here in a few months due to being sick more but am feeling a little better now.. I hope your friend can find some comfort cause pain sucks. Good Luck
