I have no experience with tiered commissions, so I don't know. I would suggest that you ask IB about the "delay time" between you incurring those costs and them reporting it. I did notice that for reporting interests paid/charged there is quite a long delay. For example: the overview received at the end of June had the interest for May calculated. So more than one month delay.
Crap, so I could be in for quite a shock! I think by the end of July, it will have been more than a month since day trading these ETFs, so by then it should be clear. I can't imagine they can charge fees for something from more than 2 months ago.
%% Most likely. SCHW puts them[SEC exit fee]on my printed monthly statement[ under '' exchange fees/interest column''] DONT think the SEC exit fee is $00.34 on $15 k, but its possible they went up that much? [I get my June paper statement about 5-12 days in to JULY. SEC fee is exit only+ i think they did have an exit fee increase by JUNE.[Link somewhere on elitetrader.com]
Thanks for the details. I will update this thread if anything appears on the June statement. But I already saw my June statement and it wasn't there. But perhaps its not the final copy as I have no idea since my only experience is trading futures.
%% I just saw mine today; + saw a way[earlier in year] for me to get ripped off tax wise on DBC. But it was in a Roth, so no harm done. SEC fee may have gone up as much as mr morgan posted on IBKR MSFT order anyway. These brokers maybe have some discretion , if they bust up an order same day as to how much SEC fee[exit] they actually charge..........................................I never got messed up SEC fee taking my daytrade profit\ even though i could have on starting position on SH in MAY,2022
