Go into the admin mode of your router and download the latest firmware for it. Update the wifi driver on your PC as well. If that does not work upgrade your router to wifi 7 and get a wifi 7 dongle for your PC.

Can you trade at starlink speed? Alway want to outfit my cabin in upstate, not even f*king cell signal away from the road, just 1 bar.

Ethernet helps reaching the theoretical limits :p
Too much loss btw my laptop and the IPS router.

    Thanks.

Going to checkout for 5G when necessary

What is the latency when you are connected directly to your router (by an Ethernet cable)?

There are news crews using Starlink in the field as a backup...trading should work fine.

A future version of starlink will talk satellite to satellite via laser and be quicker than fibre so all financial trading will transition to it.

    My ping < 5ms.
    download > 1000Mbps.
    upload > 1000Mbps.
But when the market is hot, my charts & trading platforms will freeze.

Even if you buy the most expensive router/cable/modem,
go for the most expensive service plan,
it might not help much as you are in a remote area.

Time for you to move to the city.
After earning enough $$$, then move back to the remote area.

Yes. I have under 40ms latency. If you need lower latency you would probably need a co-located server and an automated strategy. Another side benefit; wi-fi calling works great on starlink.
