Understood. There are many options available to you, such as the new TT. This could be used as a desktop or web-based. Would be more than happy to explore that or alternatives if you gain contact. In General, this is what we offer: https://optimusfutures.com/Futures-Trading-Platforms.php
IMO, this is the problem. When an account is under funded, you set very short stops and exit trades for the wrong reasons. You can't expect to make money on every trade within 2 minutes. Sometimes it will go against you first. A well funded account can afford to follow a plan while an underfunded one has regrets. A well funded account can set levels and scale into positions. A well funded account can trade more than one symbol and look for more opportunities. The reality is that not everyone has that choice. You work with what you have.
We can use TT, CQG or MarkdeDelta that are web-based executions that you can use on apple. If you are looking for core cations applications that are native to you Apple then you can use MotiveWave or QST.
Hehe, OMM wins. (People, this was a funny. It bears no reflection on the abilities of these two different brokers. Speak with both of them to find which one may fulfill your needs if you are deciding between the two.)
And the reason being is 25k allows you to stay in the game longer if you are a losing trader generating more commissions for them If you can trade, then 5 or 10k is plenty if you are disciplined, if you can't trade then all you are going to do is lose 25k instead of just 5 or 10
Completely agree with this, Volente. If you allocate 5K of margin per ES contract and use a 3 point stop ($150 without commissions), you're 'only' down $1500 dollars after 10 stop outs in a row. If you have a successful day trading system, there's no way you'd be stopping yourself out 10 times in a row or even 3 times in a row. Successful day trading bears no resemblance with long term trading/investing where you might take a lot of heat on your positions. Of course, if you're a gambler without a proven and tested system and just trade randomly, those 5K, 20K or even 1000K (happened to many famous people) will quickly disappear and it has nothing to do with initial account size.
