IMO: If AAPL touches 500 and closes below the last Higher Low (517.58 on this chart - it used to be 519.95! - other charts show it as 522.18!!) the Long Term Uptrend (since March 2009) will be over. Until that happens the Uptrend is still in place. We'll see what Mr. Market decides.
WASHINGTON (MarketWatch) -- President Barack Obama wants to start talks with Republicans next week seeking a compromise to avoid the "fiscal cliff", according to a report from AP. Obama will invite congressional leaders to the White House for the talks, according to the report. Obama is scheduled to make a statement on the fiscal cliff shortly after 1 p.m Eastern. It will be his first policy remarks since winning re-election on Tuesday.
Sold the 520 put and got out with $2/100shs. Sold my position also at $550. I can wait for the fallout now. Next week I will be back in one way or another.
Couldn't be sure. Going Long AAPL stock is certainly a minority position around here these days. Well done. Good price. Assuming today was the beginning of the reversal, and AAPL's low this week of 533.72 is never taken out - which is certainly what I'm rooting for...
he did not say he was long you have to wait and see what happens first for answers on elite. you know the game haha i use to bounce stocks crashing on the chart for a day trade rebound. i am surprised i did not have fist fights for them but risk management did have me on speed dial. its a terrible trade in this market condition for anything other than a bounce. also bouncing is an art of managing greed, pain, knowing to take the profit, and understanding you will never get the top print. its mastered by nobody but it can be profitable. i am still negative on apple and the s&p though.
Uhhhh.... Pretty confusing around here sometimes. Still think probe1957 meant he was Long AAPL Stock, but I could be wrong. As to bounces.... May the AAPL snap-back/short-covering/longs re-entering rally begin! And may it last for 4 months!!
