Alibaba arnings came out today along with their conference call-- followed by a large price drop.

Thoughts, anyone?

 

It is Chinese Amazon. Long it, dude.

 

They take down the price on purpose and government can BTFD and become a state owned company.

More + more tech ETFs have it;

Because Alibaba has been fined a lot of money, so the results are not good.

 

Monish Pabrai and Charlie Munger, two legends who are notorious for very long holding periods and concentrated portfolios, bought in the last two quarters.

Not saying this means others should necessarily auto-clone them but I find this interesting.

Pabrai is an interesting fellow who often clones philosophies and ideas.

 

And Amazon is North America's wannabe Coupang.

 

In the fourth quarter of this year, Alibaba's report will be very strong.
